Torgplass is software, operated by Margareto Software AS (org. no. 931 338 811). Payment processing is provided by Stripe. On every booking the organizer is the seller: the exhibitor's receipt carries the organizer's name, and the money settles into the organizer's own account at Stripe. Torgplass never holds the organizer's money.

Using Torgplass without charging for stands is free, with no time limit. Where the organizer charges exhibitors, Torgplass's fee is NOK 10 plus 6% of each approved booking, deducted from the settlement. The price is the same for card and invoice. There is no setup fee, no monthly price and no minimum term. Card and invoice fees are covered by Torgplass's share.

Large markets and public-sector organizers may instead agree a flat annual price in writing.

Payouts are made once a month to the organizer's own bank account, after the market has run. Funds remain in the organizer's Stripe account until then, so cancellations and refunds are covered by money that is still there.

The organizer may ask for a different schedule in writing. We will normally agree to it where the market has already run.

Refunds are issued from the organizer's balance. Torgplass charges no fee on a refund, and does not refund its own fee on a booking that was approved and then cancelled by the organizer.

If a refund, a chargeback or a cancelled market leaves the organizer's balance short — for example where money had already been paid out — Margareto Software AS invoices the organizer for the difference, payable within 14 days. This is the situation the monthly payout schedule exists to avoid.

Before a market is claimed, its page is compiled by Torgplass from public sources and may contain errors. Once claimed, the organizer is responsible for the accuracy of what they publish there.

An organizer may stop using Torgplass at any time. Their market page remains in the directory as an unclaimed listing unless they ask us to remove it.

The exhibitor list on a claimed market page shows only exhibitors who have themselves said yes to being shown. Each of them grants Torgplass and the organizer of the market they are approved for a non-exclusive licence to display their display name, description, product categories and product photos on the market page, on the organizer's own website through the Torgplass widget, and on information screens at or promoting the market — for as long as their consent stands.

The organizer may not use the content for anything else, and may not pass the licence on. When an exhibitor withdraws consent, the entry disappears from every surface within minutes, and the organizer removes any copy they have made outside Torgplass.
