For organizers
Your market page. Your applications. Zero paperwork.
Torgplass is the directory of Norway's markets. Your market's page already exists — claim it, and make it the place where exhibitors find info and apply for stands.
We normally reply within one working day.
Three things you get nowhere else
- 01
Exhibitors
The exhibitor newsletter goes out every month to people who make a living selling at markets. Claimed markets appear in it with their application link.
- 02
Your exhibitors, with photos
Approved exhibitors are shown with a photo and a description on the market page, in a widget on your own website, and on screens at the market.
- 03
Visibility
The market page is already indexed and turns up when people search for your market. You take over a page that is already there; you do not start from nothing.
And then the booking
Once the page is yours, you can open for applications whenever you like. If you never do, the page is still yours.
- Applications and payment in one click
- Nothing is charged before you have approved the application
- Card or invoice at the same price
- You pay only when a stand is sold: NOK 10 + 6%
- All communication with the exhibitors in one thread
What you get
- An up-to-date market page with dates, practical info and a map
- An application form for exhibitors — no PDFs, no email attachments
- Card and invoice payment with automatic receipts
- An exhibitor list you can embed on your own website
- Your choice: you place the exhibitors, or they pick a stand on the map
What it costs
NOK 10 + 6% per approved booking
One price, whatever the payment method: the exhibitor can pay by card or by invoice, and you pay the same. No setup fee, no monthly price, no lock-in. Sell no stands, pay nothing.
Not charging for the stands?
Then the tool is free. Volunteer associations that do not charge stand rent get the market page, the application form, the stand map and the exhibitor list without paying anything — and without registering anything with the payment institution. We take a percentage of stand sales, and where there are no stand sales there is no percentage.
You do not need an organization number to get started either.
The maths on a NOK 2 600 stand
- The exhibitor pays
- NOK 2 600
- Torgplass (NOK 10 + 6%)
- NOK 166
- Card or invoice fee
- covered by our share
- Paid out to you
- NOK 2 434
The exhibitor only ever sees the stand price you set. Our share is deducted from your settlement, and it covers the card and invoice fees — you have no other costs.
Large markets and municipalities can agree a flat annual price instead. Get in touch and we work it out together.
Read the termsPayments and settlement
Payment processing is provided by Stripe, which handles both card and invoice payments for millions of companies across Europe. We create your account there and fill in everything we can in advance — you look it over and sign. None of the technical side is yours to learn.
The roles stay simple: Torgplass is the tool, Stripe is the payment institution, and you are the seller.
- You are the seller. The exhibitor's receipt carries your name, not ours.
- The card is authorized when the application arrives and charged only when you approve. Reject, and the hold is released. An invoice is likewise never sent before you have approved.
- Payouts to your own account once a month, with a report for your accountant.
- Refunds take one click. Torgplass never charges a fee on a refund.
- The money goes straight from the exhibitor to you. Torgplass never holds it.
The one thing only you can do
As a rule you only look over the details, prove who you are and give the account number. The requirement comes from anti-money-laundering law and applies to everyone who receives payments — we can fill in the rest for you, but not that. Stripe may ask for more in some cases. It takes minutes, not an afternoon, and we will stay on the phone with you if you want.
Why payouts are monthly
The money stays in your account at the payment institution until the market has run, and is then paid out once a month. Cancellations and refunds come out of funds that are still there, instead of becoming a claim against you afterwards. If a shortfall does arise — a market cancelled after the money was paid out, say — we invoice the difference. It is stated in the terms.
The two payment methods
An exhibitor can pay in two ways, and only two: by card, or by invoice with 30-day terms. Both run through Stripe, and you decide whether to offer both or card only.
Stripe issues the invoice and chases it, not you. Your settlement arrives just as fast as it does on card — the exhibitor has 30 days, you do not wait for them. And the price to you is the same as on card.
The market must be registered with an organization number to receive payments. That is a requirement from the payment institution, not from us.
How you claim the page
